Walk in ready. Walk out with nothing missed.
Cairn is the working record of an advisory practice, built by an advisor who got tired of the back-and-forth. Everything a meeting needs, in one place, before you sit down.
Assets Under Management.
A view of the book — by advisor, by program, by household. The whole practice on one screen: the book by advisor, program, and household; fees to date; cash and RIF payments coming due; how the firm is trending. Drawn from the product with illustrative data.
Sits beside your dealer's systems, not on top of them.
The portfolio platform, the custodian, and the CRM all stay. Cairn holds the part they don't: the obligations of the practice, the meeting, and what happens next.
No AI inside. On purpose.
Everyone is excited about AI. Most firms are also, rightly, nervous about where client data ends up. Cairn sends nothing to a model and has none inside, so the same inputs give the same answer every time. If your firm has an approved notes tool, its summary goes straight into the notes pad and becomes part of the record.
The meeting, buttoned up.
Anyone who has run a client meeting knows the feeling. You're answering questions, the conversation is moving, and somewhere in the back of your head a list is running. Did we get to the KYC changes? Do we have the trusted contact form? Who's doing what after this? Cairn takes the list.
Open the household and the meeting is already built: what's due, what's missing, what changed, what's worth raising. Prep that used to mean four systems and a legal pad now means opening one screen.
Stay in the conversation. Notes save as you go, changes get captured where they happen, and Cairn does the remembering so you can do the advising.
Every decision becomes an action item with one owner and a date, in one queue across the whole practice. No recap email to confirm what was agreed. No call back to the client for the thing that should have been caught the first time.
A short list of what needs your decision today, with what to do about each one. Most mornings it's short. That's the point.
Clients notice. What Trevor and his team hear most since moving their meetings into Cairn is some version of "you didn't miss a thing."
Built to be checked.
The security and data page says what's true today, who is responsible for each property, and what isn't done yet. Hosted on Cloudflare. Field-level encryption on account numbers and SINs, on top of the platform's encryption at rest. Eleven known gaps, listed openly. No certification claimed.
We'd rather you read it than take our word for it.
